At the 28th General Assembly of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), held on May 30, 2023, eight new members were accepted into the association. These new members represent a variety of stakeholders (industry, SMEs, research and academia, non-profit and other innovation entities) and come from different countries (Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania, and Slovakia). The only new member from Romania is Transilvania IT Cluster.
This new status as a full member of BDVA is a recognition of the contribution and expertise brought by Transilvania IT Cluster in the field of digital technology and innovation. By joining BDVA, the association will have the opportunity to actively engage in discussions and decision-making processes regarding the development and adoption of data processing technologies, artificial intelligence, and other key aspects of the field.
Moreover, we will be able to expand our network of contacts and collaborations at the European level, which will contribute to facilitating the exchange of knowledge, identifying new business opportunities, and participating in international projects and initiatives in the field of digital technology and innovation.
The Big Data Value Association is an industry-driven organization dedicated to advancing data-driven digital transformation in Europe. With over 230 members, BDVA focuses on key areas such as big data technologies, industrial artificial intelligence, and data-driven value creation. As a full member, Transilvania IT Cluster can actively contribute to shaping the future of data-driven innovation and collaborate with similar organizations across Europe.
